Recycling facility offering free cardboard recycling for businesses

ALPENA — The Northeast Michigan Materials Management Authority (NMMMA) is encouraging businesses throughout the county to take part in an initiative to increase cardboard recycling in the community, according to an NMMMA press release.

NMMMA states they are offering free cardboard recycling for businesses for the remainder of 2025. A business membership is normally required for business partners to use recycling drop-off locations and to bring materials to the facility located on M-32.
